I have a few H&Ks, one being a USP 40 Compact with an 'LEM' trigger. Could that be what you mean, vrs 'lep'? With most H&K handguns there are 7-9 or so trigger variants. The procedure would be to have it changed at an authorized H&K service center, found via their website. I think some well versed may do it themselves. My other H&Ks have the more traditional double to single action pull.

If you have the LEM trigger & your new to it did you give it a chance & some thought? I ask because I had misgivings myself about it. One has to think about why it is, which is basically a simple grab & go duty trigger. It was not designed for precision target shooting at the range. My SA/DA pull on my HK-45 has a much harder DA trigger pull than my LEM USP 40. So yes you could get it changed for some $$ if you want to. The guys at  hkpro.com forums would have all the specifics.
