Trigger work on G2

I am about to send my G2 off get trigger work doe.What is a good poundage for trigger pull.Who is the best to send action to?Thanks

I guess the poundage would depend upon the intended use.  2.5-4 lbs of crisp, creep free pull is okay for hunting.  Less than that if possible for the pure paper punching.

I "tweaked" the trigger return spring and added an extra power hammer spring to both of my G2's.  I now have a nice 3lb trigger pull on both guns.  I also drilled and tapped the trigger guards with a #6 set screws to eliminate any overtravel. 

Total cost about $15.00 for each frame!

I had Bullberry do mine.  Set at 2.5 to 3 pounds and I like it alot.

What is usually the charge for the work from Henry?I know the quote from one guy out west was $65 plus shipping.I quess this is the norm though.Thanks for the replies.My 3D  archery season spending is dwindling down and now to get the TC mojo going again.

Another vote for Jim Henry.  He has done 3 G2's for me.  Excellent results and fast turn-around time.  He is also a wealth of information on contenders.  I really enjoyed visiting with him.

Jim Henry has done 18 Contenders, G2's and Encores for me.  I always have my trigger pulls set at 20 oz for hunting and also for everything else I do - some will tell you that's too light for hunting.  I say 20 oz is just fine as far as I'm concerned and everyone else needs to mind their own business and decide for their own guns, not mine.

You can't do better than Jim Henry no matter what trigger pull you end up deciding on.  Jim's the creme de la creme in the T/C trigger world.

Mine breaks at just under 2lbs. and I use it for hunting as well as punching papper you just have to be awear what your shooting when in a deer stand.

Here is a good tutorial/instructions for those that want a much better trigger from their TC.
Its easier then you think and most anyone can do it as long as you half a brain in your head.
I have slightly less then half a brain so I just added the lighter spring and did not stone any surfaces as the instructions suggest because my trigger assy didnt have any dings or marks to begin with.
Another source for a new spring thats not listed there ,is a valve core spring  from a tire.Just cut it the same length as the original and install.
Its a bit tricky to remove the spring intact from the core but they are available for free from any tire store.
They just throw this part away when they install new valve stems.
Not real sure it will work with the G2 or the Encore series but it reduced trigger pull amount by more then half on my original Contender.
