Savage Model 501 (Striker)
« on: July 14, 2010, 01:34:41 PM »
I just traded for a Savage Model 501. The fellow called it a Striker and it looks like a Striker but it does not say Striker on the pistol. It is a 22 LR Caliber with a synthetic stock. I have no idea what it is worth. I can't find anything on a price. Can someone help me out. I need somekind of an idea on the price.....

I just paid 200 for one and there is one out on GunBroker for 200 at this time...so, I would say that they are worth around 200.. ;D

I had one of those ugly things. It was very accurate!!  It had an aftermarket trigger that broke at about 10 oz. and a big pistol scope, and would shoot good ammo into a half inch at fifty yards all day. I really hated to trade it off,  but I had no practical use for it. I dont think its worth much more than 200 bucks, but I see it as a solid shooter, much like savages rifles!
