Zeke I picked up a pack by accident last year, well anywho I hunted the 100gr swacker in my Horton crossbow, they flew really well ( "Well" being what it was for that inconsistent X-bow ) I never got on game with them.
Last week I made the change to a compound bow ( my first ) I went with the 2010 Bear Charge loaded up with Trophy ridge goodies. I could not believe the accuracy and consistency difference.
Had a chance last evening to finally let some broadheads fly after alot of practice, Swackers were consistent and very close to my field points mark, Also slung the Slick Trick 100gr a few times and I'm pretty sure after that session that I'll be running the Tricks. They were tight grouping on par with my field tips ( maybe even a little better than my field tips ) So its really a toss up as to what I choose to go with , The Slicks are what my wife used last year and that might be a deciding factor as well. Might run the Slicks until I take my first deer then use the Swackers the rest of the year just so I have more field experience for others interested in it
The Concept of the Swacker is what drew me to it ( even though I was mistaken on the name a co-workered had recommended I try ). But I'm not a big fan of rubber bands and shrink bands that need to be replaced after each expanding shot.
And that combined with the accuracy of the Slick Tricks might keep me coming back for more, We'll see.
