I was in the pawn shop a while ago and there was a 45/410 TC Contender pistol (the old type) marked $250. This little tender still looks brand new. I really can't afford it right now but surely I have something worth 250 dollars I can sell (kidney, wife, kids, etc.) My brother had one about 10 years back and it was not very accurate and would only shoot 3-4" groups at 25yds when shooting with any 45colt ammo. He traded the barrel off and got a 30-30 barrel and is much happier. This doesn't sour me on the contender or 45colt at all because of the very long jump the slug had to take to reach the rifling, so I'm aware that these are not the most accurate barrels. I'm more interested in the frame. It has walnut grips, no scratches or wear marks on either wood or metal. Like I stated before it looks new. Another question, does the new (G-2) barrels fit this old frame ?? And what do you think at $250 ??
