What scope for a Claw Mount with 1 inch rings?

I have a custom Mauser that has German one-inch claw mounts and I would love some recommendations.

  All depends on what scope will fit between the rings?  Some will fit, some won't, you need to measure the distance and make a choise of those.

It is a standard 98 Mauser.

  The gun may be a standard, but the rings aren't and neither are you.  You need a scope that has enough tube length to go between those rings, and will give you the eye relief that YOU need.  This means YOU will have to do some homework.
