10 years, where did they go?

Opening yesterday of grouse season here in northern MN. It was 10 years ago I had a five month old Golden (Drae) out hunting for the first time. We have both slowed down! He pushing 11 & me, 70. I think we will both do alright this year but next year??  Since that first outing we have hunted 10 species of birds in 4 states. He has been sprayed by a skunk, quills from a porcupine & chased by a Javelina. 10 years, where did they go??

My 10 years has aged both of! Us 2 old farts found 3 birds that luck didn't go their way today.

  Hey, beautiful photos...those goldens are wonderful...but the years pass so quickly...My old one, will be 15 and 1/2 soon...my baby, Peach is 6..where did those years go? It is so sad dogs lives are so short...but they give us so much..I felt my old one would not make many hunts this season, but he has been out with me every day of sage grouse and got his old nose in grouse every time...we have been lucky to find birds, where he can hunt...congradulations on those ruffs...they are beautiful...enjoy everyday you can, and hunt every day you can...best wishes...
