Sorry to Report

I got a note yesterday from JD Jones, informing me of the death of Ken French after a long battle with cancer. Ken was employed with Thompson / Center Arms 43 years. He was a gun designer, R&D guy, manager and all-around mover and shaker in that company. He was 71.
I first met Ken on a handgun hunt in Ohio in 1991. He was an avid hunter and handgunner, and a very likeable and knowledgeable guy. He will certainly be missed.

      Very sad to hear of this.  As handgunners, we have enjoyed an awful lot of support from a long list of industry leaders over the years. :(  Ken French was right at the top of that list. :(
