Just got back to orlando from the Glenn Beck: Faith, Hope, Charity meeting in Washington DC.
Had a great time, enjoyed the speakers, met thousands and left bro. al sharpton fuming.
People of all colors and persuasions were present.
The Metro was packed but when we stopped at a station and the doors opened if somebody wanted on we would pull them in and make room. We looked like sardines but everyone was laughing. Some stations we went by and hundreds were standing and cheering as we went by
We filled DC up. We tried, We tried.
Everyones phone went dead. I could not get out nor could anyone I met, all day long.
It could not have been the number of people because I was at the first rally and was able to talk to anyone I wanted to.
Not to start a "spericy" or the like but it stopped a lot of information being transmitted around the country.

Briarpatch, glad you had a good time. Wish I could have gone. This country needs a bunch of rally's like this, alot on the local level. As far as phone service being not working, I've seen this at gun shows, where alot of people in one area overload the system. It happens. gypsyman

i know it sounds impossible .. but we got to start networking an quit depending on media for our info..
how i don t know.. but you smarter guys can figure a way..mabe something like facebook for pro 2nd amendment supporters..then we just gonna have to really get to know each other..
first rule ..allow others thier own opinions..it is thier right.
then assuming we get that done
keep focus on support of 2nd ammendment..
i know the ideas will run the gamut from kill all those who may not support owning guns ,to lets just set back an let the lord fix it..im not for either.. work like it all depends on you ,an for me,, pray like i know it does, in the end depend on the bosses decision,as to whether we are successful..slim

There wasn't any coverage of it because Beck kept the media out. I watched it twice on C Span.
My favorite part was Alveda King's, "I have a dream", speech. I would watch it again just for that!!
I thought it was really great that Dave Reaver was there to give the closing prayer, pretty awesome guy!
The "Fox News Sunday" interview with Beck was pretty good too. Although it's clear that alot of people don't understand the meaning of the rally. Some people will never get it.

I also watched Sharpton's thing on C Span too. He should be ashamed. He and several others threw verbal spit wads at the Beck rally. Really petty of them, in my opinion. I thought it was great that nobody that I remember with Beck even mentioned Sharpton's march. In an interview with Fox, Sharpton tried really hard to put Beck down about his rally and even Jeraldo Rivera wasn't going for it. Sharpton just set there with a gutshot sick look on his face while everyone else that was there praised Beck and the others in attendance at his rally. It was great!

The two events were polar opposites. Becks deal was uplifting, inspirational, encouraging, patriotic, informative and spiritual. Sharpton's deal was the same tired old race baiting, victimizing, social justice and old outdated negative racial politics. They even had SEIU and another union speaker there. It was depressing. I could tell they were intimidated by Beck and his huge crowd. Sharpton's march wasn't even close to half in attendance.

The media is already putting an ugly spin on the rally and Beck, eventhough it was a wonderful peaceful event.

I wish I could have been there!!

I haven't seen any real estimates of the number of patriots there except for one. One source said maybe 80,000, another said it exceeded the permit for 300,000. Anybody know?? POWDERMAN.

I watched the coverage, but was mainly interested in the crowd.

Three hundred thousand white people paid their own way to the nation's capital in the face of uniform condemnation by the msm and the professional black race baiters. I watched part of the Sharpton rally coverage, and learned something interesting from one of the speakers: Labor unions bussed in the blacks to the MLK rally in 1963. Typical marxist rent a mob.

The whites who attended the Beck rally paid their own way. What an amazing show of white self confidence and white determination. The Black Panthers who threatened violence against the rally were AWOL...no where to be seen. Whites have got to get organized and flex their muscles more often. It's a great show of strength and a great confidence builder.

Shouldn't the amount of what race being there and not being there be overcome by the message? Shouldn't the message and the spirit be what was important at the rally? I thought the important thing was what was said, not who said it.
Shouldn't there be condemnation by the left for those that spoke ill of the free speechers. Shouldn't we be in a color doesn't matter state by now since we have the great equalizer in Washington? Why cant we all just get along?

I heard there were 600,000 there. If it could only have been 6,000,000 with a makeup representing the proportionate races of this great melting pot country we inhabit.

the whites? from what i could tell, there were all different ethinic backgrounds there supporting the rally. to say it was 'whites' does the attendees a disservice.

Even if it was an all white event it would still have been really neat that they all showed up from all over the country to hear Alveda King give a really good speech,(her being black and all).

Some of the media reported the event as being "mostly white". Well heck yes it was "mostly white" people. The event had an open invitation for anyone and everyone to come. Just so happens we live in a predominantly white country. If everyone in America showed up, it would still be "mostly white''. If the event was held in Africa, then it would have been "mostly black".

I flipped over to MSNBC to see how they handled the story. It was sickening. They showed a clip of Beck looking up at one point in the rally and asking God to give him the right words to say. Then they did this weird spoof of Beck talking and Keith Oberman playing the part of the Holy Spirit telling Beck what to say and Beck repeating it. Oberman was dressed up weird wearing funny sunglasses. Any Christians out there care to venture a guess as to whether Oberman just commited the un-pardonable sin by blaspheming the Holy Spirit? I don't know but it made my skin crawl and I turned the channel.

I just ran across this about the rally. Kind of a neat comparison of how the National Mall looked after the Restoring Honor rally and how the Mall looked after Obama's inauguration.

Just another reason to be proud of all those who attended the rally!!

Thanks for the link. I'd heard about the mess that Obama's supporters made of the mall. Well, after his inaugaration the mall looked like Haiti or Africa....or perhaps Detroit or Oakland or Newark. Read Obama's memiors, Dreams From My Father. Obama and his followers are virulent racists who hate white people, America and Western Civilization.

I was at the last rally as well as this one. I can attest to the fact that if you so much as dropped a gum wrapper people would rush to pick it up.
The attitude was to leave the place better than it was when we came. Even trash that was thrown by others before the rally, was picked up and discarded properly.
What is not shown by the fake news bunch, is the number of colored people there.
