lube for trigger
« on: September 01, 2010, 07:02:19 AM »
quickdtoo: thanks for the perklo link...that's exactly what i was looking for.  ;D

next question:

now that i've done my trigger work i'm ready to reinstall and test it.

i have a tube of Molykote from Dow Corning. it's the "33 light" for extreme low temperature grease.

will that suffice for lubing the trigger?  ???

I use Superlube synthetic lube cuz I have it, but the Molykote 33 looks like good stuff from what I read on the DC site, I used to use Tetra, but if dries out and cakes, so I switched to Superlube.  ;)

I have been hearing a lot of good things about this one although I haven't tried it.  I intend to try their products, because they are very reasonable too.  8)

Dwalk,

I have a mixture of moly coating and super lube that I think works very well.  I'll send you a little if you like.  I do about 25% moly to 75% superlube.

PM me your address if you want to try it.
