some chipmunks have chewed some wires in my truck causing $751.36 worth of damage. any ideas on trapping/killing them would help.

get some rat traps,  they work great in rat bait boxs or just put a box over them.

Sit out there and pop em with a 22 or throw fireworks at em =) nothing more satisfying than seein a varmint explode. What I used to do is I'd sit there with a jar of peanut butter and grab em when they went to take a bite. Improved my speed and patience pretty well

My boy caught 23 in our yard this summer using weasel boxes with bird seed and a #$1 in them.

Set a one gallon glass milk jug on it's side, put a few peanuts in it, and your ready to go. Use water to dispatch.
