Acid attacker: 'Hey pretty girl, do you want to drink this?'

VANCOUVER, Wash. — A 28-year-old woman severely burned when a stranger threw an acid-like liquid in her face was listed in serious condition in a Oregon hospital.

This kind of thing makes me think that sometimes "eye for an eye" is a good idea.  If the thug is caught, spend days washing down various parts of her body with the same substance.

If you work around a mental hospital a while you soon realize most everybody has some level of sickness, some levels can function in day to day life most of the time (like me, at times questionable).

Some people are in the hospital for being unstable and they have had gas poured on them and been set fire to. The person that did it is still walking the street.

The entire system needs fixing but who in charge is capable of fixing it? (How did we get to this point to start with?) Not just in mental hospitals but in general.  Refuseing help to those trying to help themselves and giving excess help to those that refuse to help themself. Doesn't make sence. eddie
