Does anyone make a mount for a Burris Fastfire sight for a model 97? Thanks, Makilly

I've got a model 97 with the SSK base (model T'SOB) and when I was looking at red dots I called the SSK factory relative to the FastFire and they advised it would fit on the T’SOB base - they were skeptical of the durability of the FastFire but it looks pretty good to me.  I didn't go with the Burris, instead I went with the Leupold DeltaPoint.

I would think any weaver style base would work.

Might want to check with EGW . They had the mount I needed for an STI pistol .

Thanks for the info. I have an extra Burris fastfire that I wanted to use on a .22 cal FA. I have a Trijicon mounted on a .45 cal model 97 , and I agree the Burris does not look as strong as the Trijicon , but shoukld be fine on a rimfire. Best Regards, Makilly

FWIW, I've a FastFire mounted on my kimber 1911 45 ACP slide w/o adverse side effects of slamming back and forth ~ now w/a 460 rowland drop-in kit will test its limits but so far w/only a few clips thru it. I'd guess that it would be more rigorous challenge than that of a heavy single action revolver. Wasn't aware that I should be worried  :o
