Savage 10 project

I've acquired an mostly finished Savage 10 rebarreled from .223 to .260.  This is the hidden magazine, staggered round.
How do I remove the magazine attached to the action and replace with the correct mag.?
The seller changed out the bolt face to the proper size, but the bolt head does not have the ejector and extractor, the seller included the old .223 head which has an extractor and ejector.  Can the ejector and extractor be swapped from one to the other?
How do I change them out?

The blind mag box can be swapped out by holding the barreled action reciever down on a non-marring solid surface bench and knocking it loose with a rubber mallet, and then the new/correct mag can be installed the same way.  They are a PITA, but do work.  I don't know about the the extractor issue.  You can buy the replacement mag box from Brownell's and probably can also buy the extractor from them.

The extractor is removed by just sliding it towards the outside of the locking lug, do this in a plastic bag so you can capture the ball and spring which will fly out.  The ejector plunger and spring are held in by a small pin in the bolt head, you will see it if you look close at the side of the bolt on the ejector side.  Takes a small punch, but just push the pin out and the plunger and spring will also fly out.  they will fit the new bolt head.  Larry
