I have just put a scout mount from Express Sights on my Marlin 30AW in 30-30 and I really like it. I need to increase the length of pull on the rifle by 3/4 inch. Can anyone recommend a material suitable for a spacer that I can trim down to fit? I was thinking of a piece of black nylon or a nice piece of wood. The spacers that I have seen available only go up to 1/2 inch. Also, are longer but plate screws available?

Jeff:  Why dont you just put a 1in. thick recoil pad on it when you remove the butplate thats already on there you will recieve the 3/4 you are looking for, and it come with the proper screws. :D    JIM
