Okay here you guy's go for your 1 arrow shot challange this week 09-10-2010

In lieu of DOVE season, I proposed the following shot. I know most would use a shotgun for taking a dove, but your going to use an arrow instead.

From 10 yards away shoot the FLYING DOVE not the feeding dove, closest to the center of the doves ear.

(You should be able to click and save this picture, and then print off for your own target)

One thing you will learn about fletching for traditional bows, plastic vanes do not work well for accuracy... Feathers are the prefered fletching for traditional bows.

Richard, you can shoot carbons from trad bows as I do and a whole list of other trad guy's.  Remember something about wooden shafts, they have to be straightend all the time.  Carbon is probably the most consistant arrow shaft available today.  I have some aluminum arrows that I am not using any longer BTW.  I don't know your bow poundage, but I have 2018's, 2117's and 2020's all with feather fletchings, with some in need of new fletchings.
