If it is the Youth 410 Rossi on the small frame then there isn't much chamber thickness to tap into. Also, the barrel on these is pressed into the rear part that has the hinge and latch built into it. I know because I machined one out and made up a 22 Hornet barrel on one. This is the one gun I would probably not try to drill and tap for a scope. If you still want to try, a Contender scope base has the right contour for that barrel. For a light weight red dot scope, you may be just fine if you take care and sand up the base and the area just under it and use some JB weld to put the base on with. Normally I don't think glue is the way to go, but this may be the exception. Larry
