Couldn't resist and bought a new bow today.
« on: September 07, 2010, 11:19:32 AM »
Years ago I bought a handcrafted longbow off ebay for like $50.  I figured I couldn't go wrong and the worst case would be it becomes a wall hanger.  Well the bow came in and I enjoyed the 70# beast, but as years went by the wood started to crack and it had to be retired.  Today I found another one and ordered it, except it's only a 50# bow this time.

If you're interested in a very inexpensive longbow go to ebay and type "Handcrafted longbow".

Don't worry about a 50lb bow, that's heavy enough for most animals. Enjoy.

#50 is more than enough!  Good shootin'.

Well it came in the mail tonight.  I'm actually really impressed!  It feels so small and dainty compared to my 70# bow I have, but it also feels like it'd be a lot handier to hunt with this year.  Tomorrow the unfinished basement is getting turned into Teddy's archery range!  (Just don't tell my wife about it's new name)
