Any Auctions To Raise Donations For GBO?

I was just reading the Request a New Forum, so I thought the question would be suited for over here.
Is there or has there been Auctions of Items To Raise Donations For GBO? If not would the Administrators be interested in it? The winning bidder would send the donations to GBO. Just a thought..

It has been done a few times in the past. Matt says he thinks the laws have changed here so that raffles are legal as well. I'm not sure he has fully researched that yet tho.

Thanks Graybeard. Being donated items and funds from the donations for the sale of the items would go to GBO. So I don't know how the laws in your neck of the wood are.
