I am working on a deal with a man that has many, many H&Rs.
One that he wants to sell is something I never heard of.
It is made in Austria.
It is a HARRICH #1 engraved in 12ga trap with a 32" full vent rib barrel.
I would say it is in at least 90% condition.
This is one pretty H&R!!!
My Blue Book says it is worth about $1500.00.
It also states that they were made from 1971 to 75.
Does anyone know about how many were made total and how many were sold in the US?
Man, I hope this deal goes through!  :o

Right now, this is the best I can come up with.

They were built by a very good gun marker but had problems on the trap field. The first year guns trigger could be set for pull or release fireing. The rib being solid soldered to the barrel made point of aim move as the match wore on. Very strong guns but not built for the field type hunting. Would guess it could be turned into a very nice/purdy turkey or slug gun but at what cost over a standard H&R

That's not really an H&R tho I suppose they imported them same as they do the partner shotguns today. Calling such an H&R is to my mind a rather large stretch.
