Map of Criminal Street Gangs in Los Angeles
« on: September 10, 2010, 12:01:00 PM »
Just google  gangs in Los Angeles and see what you get:  A map, incomplete though it is, showing the  locations of LA's most well known criminal gangs.   BTW, this listing is far from complete, ignoring as it does, gangs outside of LA city as well as  Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.  The map  and listing are graphic representations of how significant criminal street gangs are in Southern California.

LA used to have  Maps of Homes of the Stars. Now we have maps of criminal street gangs.

If it were just that easy, I'd say throw a lot of rocks ... hard, and fast.

Always wondered why police forces along with deputized citizens and just regular willing citizens and lots of equipment just couldn't clean up a bad spot, after all it is a war really, and they are just people. How can they be so powerful as to take over parts of a city or town???  Just don't seem logical to me. It's Like the people in charge just gave up and accepted it. And then the people somehow accept it.  ???

What's with L.A. and all the loony behaviour? Is it all the smog? The close proximity to Hollyweird?

I mean look-they riot if the Lakers lose, they riot if the Lakers win. Win lose or draw there's gonna be a riot. Why dont they Riot over the Dodgers?

That's just showing a tiny fraction of the gangs here, mostly black ones around South Central LA. There are hundreds of Latino gangs, lots more black gangs, and they're in many more areas of the city than depicted on the map.

I grew up in Venice (part of LA). Many of my classmates at Venice high belonged to one of these two rival gangs...

Because we have bleeding heart liberals, lawyers and organizations like the ACLU that won't let law enforcement do their job.   They tell us it is all our faults, us and big business, President Bush, their daddies who left them and their mothers who neglected them, etc, etc.  We are supposed to feel sorry for the poor misguided, misunderstood 'youths' and spend billions in tax dollars providing them with recreation parks (which they will tear up) and after school programs (where they will peddle their drugs) and this will make it all better.  ::)

BRETT. YEP. We spend billions of $ trying to give everyone an opportunity for an education but most of these punks don't want it and ruin school for many who want to learn. We need to seperate the wheat from the chaff, educate the wheat, lock up the chaff or prefferably ship em to a deserted island and let them kill each other, no loss there. POWDERMAN.  ::) ::)

They don't want to get rid of the gangs.  The gangs are a powerful political constituency.  The City Of Los Angeles spends approx. $25 million per year on "Anti-Gang Interventionists."  What does that mean?  Well it means this:  Former gang members get a tax payer funded salary to "intervene" and  "counsel" minorities against joining gangs.  How do you know they're "former" as distinct from current gang members?  Well, they say so.

Several years ago it was revealed that the City gave $7 million dollars to a "former" gang member to fight gangs and it turned out he was arrested by BATF for trafficking in machine guns and sliencers.  You can't own assault weapons in California, but you can be taxed  so that gang members can.  Got that?

The whole "gang interventionist" thing is a racket...another transfer of tax money from white  producers to minority parasites.  A couple of years ago LAPD pulled over a car on a traffic stop. The two blacks produced "gang Interventionist ID" and proclaimed themselves to  the LAPD officers be "law enforcement just like you."  Well, they did a quick computer check and both of these guys had rap sheets, although no outstanding arrest warrants.  It turned out they were on the payroll  of L.A. City council woman Jan Perry (an African) as "gang interventionists."    This is simply a racket whereby the criminal gangs, a politically powerful  constituency in Los Angeles, are being subsidized by the tax payers.

You simply cannot imagine the insanity that is Los Angeles.  It is no longer even recognizably American.
