Contender Forend Question

Anyone know if the synthetic forend model #7735 will fit a Super 16 barrel?

You can do what I had to do when I could not find a forend for rifle you can tap the forward screw or what some call the top hat off the barrel and use the back screw which will line up looks strange but does work but will leave the forward hole open. I used a super 14 forend for the contender till I was able to find the correct one.
