Gunsmith saves the day!!!

Our new Buckmark challenge had a 9 or 10 pound trigger pull from the factory and I sent it in for a trigger job. Now the pull is very nice. No creep. Nice feel. The gun is accurate and fun to shoot. Great gun.

Can you tell me what "creep" is?

Thanks,

Movement of the trigger prior to the gun going off.  A well tuned trigger has no movement (creep) before breaking (the gun going off).
A normal description of a proper trigger is : "it breaks like a glass rod."  It also should have minimum overtravel: movement after breaking.  Some of my guns seem to fire with no real movement sensed.  There really is some, but with recoil etc. it is not perceptable.
