Went to the range yesterday to sight in with different scope on my SS/Synthetic Huntsman. Was finally on paper @ 100 when noticed some problems. You see I was using a device the range has that is similar to the Lead Sled. I had concerns in the past about dissipation of energy. Well nursing a sore shoulder I would use the device, since having to shoot so much. Well what happened was the bolt that retains the stock bent, nearly broke, shifting the stock. One more shot could have been bad. Just a reminder of simple physics, that energy has to go somewhere, and it will find the weak point. {Load was 100gr Pyro pellets and 250 grn Hornady Sabots, nothing to high}.
