Wood Contender grip with Rubber Back?
« on: October 15, 2010, 07:52:57 AM »
Can the rubber be pulled out for wood refinish or do you have to work around it.
I am looking at some online and the wood needs refinished.
I have never seen one in person or I probably could figure out an answer.

Thanks

Probably you will have to work around it.  The one on my synthetic appears to be permanently attached.  Not sure about the wood but appears to be the same.

You can most likely find one in the classifieds on this site that will not need refinishing.

If you contact Ed's TC's, He probably has at least a dozen of them brand new in the wrappers that you won't have to diddle around with at all.

He's the forum sponsor on this forum.

Those are very common grips and not worth messin with, even if they are free. Call Ed.
