do handi's come in these calibers,,,,,,,,,,,or do the have to be made,,,
 
 44-40
454 casull
458socom 475 linebaugh
 480 ruger
 50 action express

Someone with a longer Handi history should really respond, but I believe those are all redos.  I know that Wayne York has a 50 Alaskan reamer on hand - he is finishing mine up now.  I don't know if he has a 50 AE, though.

Yeah, none of those are factory.  First make sure your wallet is strapped down tight and then go look around.

454 casulll can be had relatively cheap.  Rent the reamer and ream your new BC carbine in 45LC, I did!  Shoots great.

The 458 SOCOM is a near impossibility due to the case rim size. If the brass is made using .375 Win brass, then one could use it without picking the brass out themselves. Still would need to be a stub since there's no current .458" bore that has a short chamber.

Rebated rims aren't necessarily a problem, the 300WSM is rebated and it worked fine with an ejector in my 300WSM Handi test project a few years ago, would function even better with an extractor. There are a couple 6x284 Handi owners here too, they have no problems.   ;)
