« on: August 30, 2010, 03:35:52 PM »
Alright for all those that want to know about hogs in Indiana, I know a little. My boss came into work today (over the weekend his family had a big gathering) but he told me all about his cuz tellin him DNR came buy his farm while he was out to let him know that there was wild hogs in the area and to shoot as many as he could when he saw them. I'm foamin at the mouth buy this point thinkin he wants me to go down and kill some but, no he just wanted to let me know about them. Now you want to know where right? Bedford along the White River bottoms and spreadin farther every year.

"Assemble the posse, we have some scoundrels to round up"  ;D ;D :D  Let us know when the farmer has a problem. Maybe he can ask around and find some other farmers who are interested in allowing us to visit. If push comes to shove, I will place an ad in the local newspaper.  ;) Thanks for the tip, keep the info coming. I'm heading to the reloading room....

Thanks, Dinny

Hey Dinny you could call The District Wildlife Biologist at District 13. He is over that area.  Call 812-849-4586  that is the Dist.13 Office.  Then you could plan a Recon Mission.    Jeff  ;D ;)

I will call that office and see what info I can get. I don't have much time for more than that right now, it's hurricane season. :(   It's a good thing I ordered that Laser Genetics/BSA ND-3, it may come in real handy if I get to hunt a nocturnal animal someday. ;)

Thanks, Dinny

Man my boss won't tell me where this farm is or how many acres it is for sure, 60ac is what they plant. I think he let it slip the it's in Tipton ??? between Bedford and Bloom, thats like 25-30 min drive and he won't give me the # for the guy so I can call and ask about hunting there....

That'd be so sweet to help someone out with this kind of problem.  I'm itching to go on a hog hunt really bad.
