A fiend has a 50 caliber TC Renegade. He's used to hunting close, but now needs to extend range to 125-150 yards[nuisance/crop damage by whitetails].
Suggestions on doing this with the Renegade?
Thanks.

I don't know how much powder it is rated for but the easiest way to extend the range is to shoot sabots or conicals in it. I think they are 1 in 48" twist and should shoot conicals pretty well, sabots I'm not sure about. Those ranges are just to far for a 177 grain round ball,.

Build a blind closer to their paths & runways.

Sabots shoot flatter than most conicals. I suggest a rifle shaped sabot/bullet. My 1-48" shoots the Precision XRs 240 grain 40/50 sabot/bulets as well as any load I tried in my Omega. The sister to the XR is the Precision QTs... on sale now at Precision Bullets.

The one I had would get that job done with Maxi-balls.
