Yep 88.  I've been married to her for 44 years and she's been married to me for 44.  44 plus 44 equals 88.

It wasn't bait...when you have been married for 44 years you tend to look at things a bit different.  When we got married, I never even consider I would live to age 44 let alone be married that long..

I think that I'm going to take a pass on the idea of saying to my wife: Happy anniversary dear, you know we've been married for so long that sometimes it feels like Moses officiated at our wedding. For obvious reasons, the first of which is that I don't look good in bandages.  :) ;D :D

RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.

I have to suspect you didn't say "Happy Anniversary Dear.  44 years!  Feels like 88!" :o

Hopefully she has a metal disc around her finger to represent having to put up with you for 88/2 years! ;)
