Went home this last weekend to hunt with some buddies. Had a flock of over 50 come in but the place we were hunting has been hunted kinda heavy so we had to move the decoys out a ways to get them to commit. we ended up with 7 when all the smoke cleared. So now of course I am hooked. Scored 2 dozen older shells from a guy at work for 80 bucks Ordered a layout blind last night and am picking up a zink and a flag before this weekend. As far as eating the goose....I actually like it. I made it a point to remove any and all skin on the breasts and to me they were just like a little tougher venison. I just took my first batch of jerky out this morning also. ok so i got my decoys,blind,flag,call. anything else im missing?
