Thunder 5 revolver

does anyone have any experience with the Thunder 5 revolver.  A friend was offered a good deal on one.  It seems to be a forerunner to the Judge.  45 LC/410 chambering.  Any input would be apppreciated...

I remember seeing them at gunshows, but never shot one.  With the taurus judge out, "a good deal" for me to buy one of those would be <$100.
I don't know if they failed due to poor workmanship or b/c the company didn't spend bazillions in advertising in NRA magazines.
