I once saw a Leupold 3-9 that was for 150$ on sale at walmart 3 years ago and i did not have the cash for it.  So, sometime you can find a good deal, just have the money for it.

Saying it was a Leupold 3-9 isn’t enough information.  Was it a Rifleman, VX-I or VX-II big difference with the later two?  I am sure it was a Rifleman that being it wasn’t much of a deal about $20 off three years ago.

Geeze, ya! It has bugged me when I sell something really 'right' to a friend 'cause he 'wants' it ,then he flips it right away to make some money. I guess the best we can hope for is that we are remembered well for being fair and generous. Now, when I sell something, I just divorce myself from it and move on. Its easier that way.
This hobby is getting too expensive for a lot of folks. Im glad you are finding some good deals and are willing to give them a go and see if they suit you. Passing on the good deal is great, too.

 ??? ??? ???

you have resolved your problem...good deal.

i personally have a number of leupold scopes all work well

all have a lifetime guarantee.

my son called leupold about mounting his leupold on his B-21 springer and was told by their cust service rep "ALL leupold scopes are springer rated."

i think, like others have said...you had some sort of mounting problem.

put me in line with those to notify if you ever want to sell another leupold... :D

I've owned a whole bunch of scopes the last 40 years, Leupold being one of the very few I fully trust day to day, week to week, year to year.  All the others were Euro's that cost me a whole bunch more money.  I admit not having tried any the the newer upper level Bushnells, Nikon, Weaver, etc,, they weren't around years ago, LP was.  See no reason to swap brands at my advanced age... ;D
