does anyone own a stoeger 2000, and are they good guns? i am wanting a auto shotgun but i'm not about to pay over a grand for one. i was looking at some old A-5's and came across these. they are not priced out of site and they point well. i just need to know if they are good guns.

way late i know but maybe this will help somone on a search.   These guns use the benelli inertia action.  Stoeger is owned by benelli after all.  If broken in properly as per the owners manuel, these guns shoot great.  They are 100 percent reliable and balance well.  Cant go wrong IMHO.  I have seen alot of these at my local club some with excess of 20k rounds through them.  All have been great once broken in...as good as the benellis honestly.
I am not afraid to make an example out of you
