H&R Over/Under?
« on: January 12, 2011, 03:36:33 PM »
Does anyone know if the picture on this page is an upcoming release or is this something I've missed or imagined.

H&R once imported one from Spain made by Lander.  Kinda looks like one.

When you consider H&R has never made a left hand barrel release on a Survivor as shown on their home page, you get a hint those pics might not be accurate representations of actual firearms, kinda bogus, the same bogus pics on their website for at least the last 5yrs or so!  ::)

If the price was right,  I would have to have one in a 20.

I noticed that o/u pic on their site the other day and wondered the same thing myself.

Too bad they don't make a double barrel, if they did i would buy it.

Quick,

They just reversed the image is why it turned into a "lefty".  That seems to be done very frequently by advertising people who just see a picture and think it will fit their presentation better in mirror image.  Like using a Ruger when making a Western movie rather than a Colt, figuring that the viewers will never notice the difference.

Yeah, I realize that, it's been on there for years, they had a SxS double on their for a long time, IIRC some thought it was an LC Smith which Marlin used to sell, why they put stuff on the site that is irrelevant to H&R is really beyond me, you'd think someone that cares there would have figured it out by now that the Survivor was a bogus pic and fixed it!  ::)
