Old model 24 22lr
« on: September 21, 2010, 06:32:00 PM »
Hi,

Just saw a nice and tight model 24 on the rack at one of the local shops, for just under 400.  A second rear sight dovetail has been cut and the stock has a crinkled finish to it.  Are these worth much for a shooter or do they have any more value??  Are these just a browning knockoff or are they an improvement in design.

Thank you,

Paul

They were Remington's version of Browning's design/patent.

A shooter M24, in the condition described, is worth no more than $150, max.
