I havent shot much at all in the last 10 years, and wasnt very good back then.  but recently I decided to start back.  I have been trying to get my new england and savage 243's to shoot, but tonight i decided to try my old 22 mag.  The wind wasnt being very nice, so i wasnt expecting much, i actually shot more at walnuts on the ground than i did at the paper.  Anyway, I wanted to try  a couple of different types out and here are the two best groups of the day.....

I usually only shoot three shot groups, but was so suprised by the CCI Maxi-Mag's that i went ahead and emptied the clip.  I think during those shots the wind was the calmest i have ever seen.   ;)

there's nothing wrong with those groups.   my own favorite mag is the winchester 40 grain hollowpoint in the gray box.
