Esteemed Board

I have the Uberti Patterson with the loading lever.  Two questions:

1)  I notice that when cocked quickly the cylinder will over-turn.  I imagine with that small pin instead of a bolt that it is a design flaw, corrected on later models.  Am I correct?

2)  The cutout for loading is not large enough to place a ball on the cylinder under the loading lever.  I'll still have to use the separate Patterson loading tool to load.  What's the point of the lever?

My copy of the periodical "Guns of the Old West" came today (winter 2004) and there is a feature on the Patterson.  A four page article full of good stuff.  Check it out.

I've never seen it.  Can you give me specifics so I can snag a copy?
