Democratic party nominee for the US Senator in South Carolina is promising to be a new political force in US politics and will be the newest member of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Nah, that would validate your position that seemingly states that any time you find anyone of a particular race doing something stupid they must all be stupid.

As a SC resident, this is a simple situation. That particular seat is guaranteed to go to a Republican. In many places here the Republican primary IS the election. An unknown Democrat won the primary because the Democratic candidate that runs for that seat is unimportant.

I did not "pick" on this idiot any more than I voted for him...but thousands of his fellow tribesmen evidently did vote for him. He's a candidate for high national public office and under the 1st Amendment he can be "picked on" by any citizen. If the Liberals can "pick on" Catherine O'Connell from Delaware, I can "pick on" Alvin Greene. BTW, I only posted a true and correct video of how he presented himself on national television. I have not misrepresented his appearance in any way. Black skinned candidates for high public office are subject to the same criticism and white skinned candidates for high public office...or maybe you don't think so?

If you "dig up" a clip of a stupid white guy, try to find one who did not win a free election by winning the votes of tens of thousands of white people. This Alvin Greene guy is not some odd ball muttering on a street corner. He won the Democratic Party's nomination for US Senate in one the 50 states. I didn't vote for him, but if you're from SC as you say, maybe you did. Get over it!

I can assure you that I did not vote in the Democratic primary. As I said, the Democrats have such a weak hold in this state that the primary didn't matter. This didn't really campaign at all. No signs, no commercials, no advertising. Nothing. I'd wager that the majority of people who voted for him didn't even know his race. The simple fact is that even his opponent did little of that, and Green's name was first on the ballot.

Now who is dumber in that clip the interviewer or the interviewee? I dont know who DeMint is but I cant imagine him being worse than this character as the interviewer claims.

Interviewer:"your nickname in high school was turtle how did you get that nickname?"
Interviewee:"Uhhhh no uhhhh DeMint started the recession."

I didnt know much about this guy other than his fellow democrats were out to smear him in the primaries, after watching the video I guess I know why.

This should be a wake up call, for just how bad things are in the USA!
Most people that vote, don't have a clue about issues or the candidate they are voting for. They vote party line, or who ever their favorite talking head tells them is the right one.

I saw several interviews with people that voted for this fella, and some said he had a more recognizable name than his opponent.

Or the name sounded cool!

Sad fact is...............The country would be better off with more like him in DC. He's not smart enough to be a threat "The ones we will elect will be.

It is certainly not a racial thing. I don't worry much about Alvin since it is highly unlikely he wil be put in a position to do any harm. I worry more about the many thousands who voted for him..after all..they voted for him...and they reproduce.

Exactly. Make no mistake - I think Greene is an idiot. That's obvious from his clips. Heck even the Democrats are distancing themselves from him because him winning was a fluke. Since neither person running for the nomination really did much on the campaign trail, it was mostly a coin toss as to who won, and we saw just how badly that coin toss went (in a way - Demint is in no danger whatsoever of losing his seat so this particular primary race was by and large irrelevant). And honestly, if any other poster would have started this thread I probably wouldn't be as quick on the trigger. The thread originator however tends to make a hobby of attempting to find as many bad examples by minorities as possible thinking they somehow promote his agenda.

It's the equivalent of finding someone on a non-gun oriented forum who constantly posts videos of people with guns doing stupid things, and using those clips (real as they may be) to try and promote the idea that gun owners are idiots. Eventually, the individual examples are no longer as relevant as the constant barrage of propaganda. I have my doubts as to whether the same poster would have posted this clip had the subject been white.

IGM, don't ever criticize a black politician or you will be deemed a racist. Especially if he is a liberal black politician. Now if he is a black conservative most likely nothing would be said. If he is a white liberal, you will be called other names. If its a white conservative, just pound away, you will never be called a racist, or any other name.

Maybe it doesn't have anything at all to do with black and white. Maybe its just about right and wrong.

Maybe we should post videos of Barney Frank, he's a white clueless liberal and ranks right up there with ole Alvin, and no one will be called a racist.

Take the blinders off and look at the whole posting history, not just this article. In the past IGM has advocated stopping all immigration of "non-whites" to the US, and admitted several times to racism. This isn't some knee-jerk "OMG he's a racist!" reaction to this post. This poster has already clearly shown his true colors on this issue time and time again.
