model 488 at the CANDY shop! PICS ADDED

Took a trip to one of our favorite CANDY (gun) shops today and on the used rack was a nice little Topper Deluxe model 488 in 2.3/4" 410ga.
Gun was nice and tight with right decent blueing on the barrel and a chrome frame.
It had a 28" full choke barrel with looks like real walnut wood.
The wood has had a coat of clear but doesn't detract from the over all appeal that much.
The price was $119.00 out the door.
I really didn't need it as I have other 410s but the shop owner said it was made in 1956 according to the man that traded it in.?
I think it was a tad more $$$ than it should have been but I just had to have it for the collection.
Could have bought a brand new one in 410 3" for the same price.
Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet!

Looks like somebody sanded the frame... that's too bad.
Have you shot it yet? How does it pattern?

No I haven't shot it yet but soon.

The frame really doesn't have all those marks.
I don't know why it looks that way.
The chrome looks quit good for its age.
May try to get another pic.
