26in or 28in barrel

t/c encore pro hunter, i'm buying a 300win mag barrel for my t/c , right now i have the muzzel loader barrel on it . which barrel length is better?  also will my fore arm fit the w/m barrel?  thanks   barry

I like the shorter barrels for my Encores----------------They are easy to carry in the thick stuff and easy to move around in a stand. I have 2-24in barrels on my hunting Encores
