I just changed out the scope on my Knight. I put on a vari-x-III 1.75-6 that has been underused the last few years. My average shot is 30-75 yrds. My previous scope was a Burris FF-II 2-7 with a BP reticle. I'm not a fan of a busy reticle & at my ranges just use the center cross hair anyway. Even though I hunt near farm fields I'm usually tucked into cover where shots over 100 yrds would be unusual. I did remove my iron sights to keep a clear view through the scope at lower power.

I have a Leupold 3x9 Veri-X II on my Lyman Mustang Wind Drift.  Darn nice scope.  If you already have one you're not using on another gun, put that sucker on your inline and don't look back.  Why would you want to buy another scope?

I have Simmons 4X ProDiamonds on four other muzzleloaders (one inline and three sidelocks).  A 4X is all you really need for anything out to 200 yards.

I ended up putting a Leupold Ultimate Slam on my Knight Vision:

It has a BDC campablility and It is a very good scope.  It is similar to the Nikon scope.  I ened up paying more for the scope then the rifle!  Go figure.
Just another voice in the crowd!!!
