Winchester Dual Bond Shotgun Slugs

Has anyone tried these in 12 gauge 2 3/4 and if so, what was your accuracy like and how did they perform on whitetail sized game? I am asking because I currently have 8 rounds of the Remington Accutips left but after sighitng in and shooting I will be down to little or none and they are scarce around here. The one place that has them in stock wants four more dollars per box than the another place that sells them but they are always out of stock. The Dual Bonds are $11.99 per box compared to the $14.99 Accutips and they have plenty in stock. If it matters I am shooting a fully rifled 870.

I just tried some in 20 gauge 2 3/4" in my remington 1187. I have only fired three shots because I could not find more than two boxes and want to save the other 7 for deer hunting season unless I can find more. But that said the three shot group is the best I have got to date with any other slugs. At 50 yards from a sand bag with a 10X scope my cantliver barrel shot into a 1 1/2" square. they were not touching but made me happy and a bullet recovered from the sand behind impressed me with the expansion.

Only your gun knows whether they like them. Buy a box a try them out. Also, you can get accutips online for as little as $10 a box if you shop around. Unfortunately, everyone has them on backorder. Looks like remington dropped the ball.
