I thought it might be intertesting, to show a direct, side-by-side, size comparison between two CCW revolvers.

In this case, a 1966 Colt Detective Special, 6-shot .38 Special & a 2000 Charter .44 Special Bulldog 5-shot.





(the table tiles are 6" squares)

Please feel free, to post similar comparison pics, should you have two or more similar-sized guns.

Though Im a Colt's fan, I should have kept the pair of CA 44s I had. 44 S&W equiv. loads were dandy in them.
Now Ive got J frame .38Spls for easy carry since a DS hasnt come my way. I havent seen CA 44s for sale for years at our gunshows.
