If we have early voting here I'm not aware of it. I can hardly wait for Nov 2. If the early votes are counted on Nov 2 with the rest, I'm all for it, but if tallied and reported before Nov 2 I believe it probably greatly influence the voting public, even swing an election by discouraging some voters. Wife and I do it every year. Just walk in the courthouse and go back and vote. No line to stand in where your back and feet get to hurting. The votes are not counted until election day so no early influence on any outcome.

I live  a rural precinct and there's hardly ever a long line.
Most of the folks out here are retired and get thier voting done early.
So it's not a problem for me as long as I don't wait until late.

I went on vacation the 19th to the lower 48.  Alaska opened early voting on the 18th so I went in and voted that day.  Glad they did that saved me having to vote absentee.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

We vote by mail here in The peoples Republic of Oregon, and I have already cast my ballot. I personally do not like voting by mail. It lets too many people just fill in the circle, without really knowing or thinking about who and what they are voting for vote. It leaves a huge area open for fraud also.

"Example" We lost our daughter in a traffic accident two years ago, and had two ballots mailed to us after her death. My wife and I could have returned three ballots, and no one would have been the wiser. After calling the election board three times they finally got the message.

They send out voter pamphlets about a week before we get the ballots, giving the pro's and con's of the proposed legislation, and a brief statement from the  people running for office.

We heard on a local TV station yesterday, that most nursing homes would only receive one pamphlet per home ::)  "GOSH" That should really inform the residents.

Most voting in the good old USA has become one big fraud anyway, and the best thing voters could do in this election is just stay home, and send a clear message, just before tar and feather time.

Or just write in Micky Mouse. ::)
