We know everyone has a want but is anyone GIVING a rifle for Christmas this year?  I should have the final touches done on my granddaughter's 7mm-08.  Built on a left-handed Winchester M70 action with a Shelin match grade barrel and a Royal Arms stock.  Topped with a 6-24x44mm Burris scope it makes it under the weight limit for hunter class silhouette matches.

From my family and I, we wish everyone here a Joyous and Safe Christmas and a Happy New Year.  Good Health and Long Life to all.  Lawdog

My son wants a pistol for next year's deer season. So I ordered him a Encore frame, and grip. He was leaning torwards a 7-08, but hadn't made up his mind yet. I didn't say anything, one way or the other, so i don't think he expects it for Christmas. I'll put a gift cetificate in with the frame, for a scope, and barrel. He can make up mind without haste that way. I know it's not a rifle, but he got one of those last year. I hate to spoil him and get him another rifle this year also :wink:
