Does anyone know of a good source of mil-surp guns in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I would rather look over what I buy.

Thanks

Pick up a current copy of "Shotgun News" for a listing of the gun shows coming to your area.  Best way I know to get your hands on milsurps in one place.

A place in Mesquite is where I saw a bunch of them.  Blues Brothers,  I think you will find them in the phone book.  If you can't let me know and I'll find the number.

I ran into a guy at the range and he mentioned someplace like Antique guns or some such name. He said they always have a bunch and usually have a booth at the shows. The guy left before I could get the address and make sure of the name. Any large gun stores with good prices in the area? I usually just go to Bass Pro for powder and primers and such.

I haven't lived in the area long.

:D Don't overlook the gun shows in your area.  DFW, Mesquite, Arlington and several of the other towns in the DFW area have show.  I often travel from Abilene to attend show there and have found, in most cases, the dealers will treat you right.  As big as some of the shows are they know they are not the only act in town so they will deal.  Another thing to remember, if possible take CASH with you.  Dealers seem to reduce prices quicker when they are looking at green.
