My Parker Cyclone
« on: December 10, 2010, 01:25:56 PM »
I traded for a Parker Cyclone crossbow last week.  Just warmed up enough to shoot it today.  Very smooth and accurate.  Trigger is a little heavier than I like.  I have a Barnett C5 that I have enjoyed shooting also, but now I know what you get for the extra money spent on a Parker.  Smoother, less recoil and vibration.  Both shoot great, the Barnett has a better trigger.

I have a question for the other Parker owners, does the string stop help reduce noise or help accuracy?  Mine doesn't have it but on the website it is available for my crossbow.

Guess this post is a little long winded, sorry.

The string stop will quit it down a little, it will not effect your accuracy what so ever.. Is it worth the extra money to put on your bow, I say save your money, the bow will still be loud with the string stop, that is just the nature of the beast on crossbows.  I had a Parker Cyclone and sold it to my buddy, he loves it.. I got an Excalibur now.. Hope this helped.
