New toy

Picked up a used 12 gauge pardner for $75. Stock is a little beat up and barrel needs reblued. I started sanding the stock and will be putting a hand rub oil finish on it. This is my first h&r shotgun, looking forward to it. Hopfully itt will earn its place next to the 30-30 topper and the 25-06 ultra.
What did you do today...for Freedom?
Today, at the front, he died...Today, what did you do? Next time you see a list of dead and wounded, ask yourself: "What have I done for freedom? What can I do tomorrow that will save the lives of men like this and help them win the war?"

NICE! I like mine. I would suggest a recoil pad if it doesnt already have one. I am not "recoil sensitive" but I still put one on mine.

Congratulations, but be warned, you have started down a road that will lead towards more and more. I've got all the different gauges and several rifled as well. They is fun and addictive
PROUD REDNECK CONSERVATIVE

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

Those stocks came out great... I like an oil finish too, it really brings out the grain. ;D
