PT92 Not shooting Accurate?
« on: December 09, 2003, 02:14:45 PM »
Hello -

Just purchased my PT92 9mm last year and have taken it to the range a few times. When it shoots, the grouping isnt very tight at all.. Has the 3 dot sight on it. I have most of the shots centered pretty well, but they are scattered up and down the target. What should I do? Boy oh boy is it frustrating when you cant get a gun to shoot well  :) Maybe its just me.. I am a rifle hunter and am used to shooting perfectly with a nice leupold scope

Thanks, any feedback would be great.

My 92 compact was the same way when I first bought it. After about 1000 rds the barrel locking lug cracked and locked up the gun. Had to send it back and they repaired it. When I got it back, it now shoots wonderfull groups. I suspect the barrel was not locking up correctly all along.   KN

What do you mean by the barrel locking up? Is there a way I can check?  :?

Thanks, HuntingGuy
