I need to install a few carry sling swivel studs.

How far foreward of the forearm lug screw is a swivel stud placed on a wood Schnabel forearm ??
C/L to C/L or close,,

Every one of mine are different .They are from 1 3/4" to 2.400. I have 5 old style, all the new type measure 2.400 cl to cl. 26-t

I don't like sling studs in the schnabel forearms... I use barrel band swivels instead.
Of course I also cut the lip off the schnabel forearms and round them off. :)
